Ongoing - Online School Nurse Training

Free, Accredited, Online!

With this nationwide training, the Epilepsy Foundation Texas' goal is to educate 800 school nurses across our service area by the end of the year! Please help us reach out to your school district to schedule a presentation or encourage them to take an online course!

Each school nurse who completes the in-person or online course receives CEU credit hours.

Ongoing - Online EMS Training

Free, Accredited, Online!

Sign up at http://www.epilepsyfoundation.org/firstresponders/ and click: Access Trainings! Course code is 05.

The EMS course, about 60 minutes in length, describes a variety of seizures associated with epilepsy, seizures with other potential causes, appropriate EMS response on scene, and issues to be considered when determining whether or not further medical care is warranted. CECBEMS- approved CE lesson will award 1.5 hours of continuing education credit upon successful completion.
